We had live entertainment from Bongo and B for our wedding at the Cambridge Mill and they were awesome, just a few hiccups with the DJ which means this doesn’t get 5 stars. From the very beginning, the consultative services provided by Chris were fantastic. He met with us virtually to go through the musical options for our wedding. We ended up picking a cellist and harpist for our ceremony and cocktail hour, as well we a DJ for the reception. The musicians were amazing and so talented - their music was beautiful and our guests had so many great things to say about them. The DJ was ok. He did not play the lounge/jazz music throughout dinner as we requested and he instead played our chosen 25 songs that we wanted for the dance portion. We were so caught up in the moment that we didn’t really realize this until we were thinking about the wedding afterwards. He also did not stop our first dance when we had asked… all in all, we wondered if maybe he didn’t read through our instructions correctly. Chris, one of the bongo players and our main contact, made the entire process seamless. His calm, cool, collected, and professional demeanour, combined with his passion for music and energy to get a room ready to party, was unbeatable. Would highly recommend working with them - their musicians and artists are carefully screened to only provide the highest level of talent and we could see that first hand at our wedding. We booked our wedding DJ as well as a sax and violin player for our wedding and they were incredible. DJ Tage played all of our favourite songs all night and the sax player stayed around to entertain guests on the dancefloor. We had a ton of compliments about the overall entertainment and energy in the venue. Chris was also very helpful in setting everything up and being in touch before our event.
