Better Days Are Coming
As February comes to an end, the world is optimistic about warmer days ahead. However with the pandemic still looming, the future still seems unclear and questions keep rising about going back to “normal” living. Although we cannot answer all questions at this time, one thing is certain: we need to keep strong.
Last year, we had the pleasure of performing at socially distant outdoor events, as well as performing virtually for various clients. The feedback we received from our clients and audience was that people have a need to be social as well as entertained.
After being cooped up in their homes for months, we noticed audience members were reacting to our performances as if it were the first time they had witnessed a live show. Some people even grew emotional, shedding a tear or two from the happiness they felt. As entertainers with busy schedules, we tend to lose track of what is important and why we wanted to be in the spotlight to begin with. Needless to say, 2020 was a very humbling year.
We are very optimistic that with the weather warming up, small outdoor events will begin once again. We have seen that we do not need enormous crowds to have a great time and if last summer is any indication, there are ways to have fun all while being safe.
Now more than ever, we have to stay positive and enjoy the little things in life. We may not be able to go back to big lavish weddings and events just yet, but we need to remind ourselves that better days are around the corner. Thank you again for sticking with us and we can’t wait to see you all soon on the dance floor!
